La Alma-Lincoln Park, perhaps the secondโข oldest neighborhood in Denver, has long beenโ a vibrant โhubโ of Latinoโ culture and aโ foundational part of the city’s โstory. Longtime residents Diane Young and Jerry De-La-Cruz, who have lived in La Alma-Lincoln Park forโ over 20 โyears, share a hopefulโ outlook. “This is already aโข residential neighborhood, so hopefully it won’t go downhill, but rather uphill,” Young โstated, noting the ongoing construction of new homes in the area. “There’s all sorts ofโข good stuffโฆThat’s a huge plotโ of land that they bought, so what they’re going to do with the rest of โฃit willโ beโค really interesting.”
