BREAKING: russia Claims Ukraine attempted to Hijack MiG-31 Fighter Jet Armed โwith Hypersonic Missile
Moscow – Russian intelligence service FSB alleges itโ thwarted a Ukrainian โฃplot toโ hijack a MiG-31 fighter jet equipped with a Kinschal hypersonic missile.Accordingโข to the FSB, the plan involved a โขRussianโฃ pilot being persuaded to defect withโ the aircraft, flying it to a NATO base โin โฃconstanta, Romania, for a reported payment of three million US dollars.
The FSBโฃ claims the hijacked jet was intended to be shot down as it โคneared โConstanta, blaming theโฃ Ukrainian militaryโข intelligence service HUR and British services for orchestratingโข the operation. The FSB โฃalleges contact with the Russian pilot wasโฃ made through theโ journalistic research network Bellingcat.
Theโข FSB stated,โฃ “Their goal remains unchanged – to reach โthe northern borders of Pokrovsk and then try to encircle the metropolitan area.”
It is significant to note that โtheโข FSB frequently announces alleged โขsuccesses in investigations and the uncovering of Ukrainian attack plans, โwhich are often arduous to independently verify. These announcements are considered by many toโ be part โขof Russia’s psychological warfare strategy.
