The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) attended the special case title of the alleged fake diploma of the 7th President of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Kompolnas warned the National Police so as not to linger announced the results of the special case title.

“We warned and hope that this conclusion should not be too long to be announced. Because one process is good, the process is good,” Kompolnas Commissioner Choirul Anam told reporters at the Bareskrim Polri Building, South Jakarta, Wednesday (9/7/2025).

Anam grabbing the title of the case was carried out thoroughly by attending the reporter, reported, experts, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), DPR, Kompolnas, to Ombudsman. According to him a number of elements are enough to provide confessional views.

“Each party was given the opportunity to explain what they believed to, both reporters, and reported and we were external, were given the opportunity to dig deeper,” said Anam.

“This means that there has been a deepening and so on, just drawing conclusions, even though each title participant has given views, just compiled,” he explained.

Anam said the UGM had also answered all accusations that were raised by the Ulama and Activist Defenders Team (TPUA) as the Pendakas. Including regarding the technical analysis that experts raised from TPUA, Roy Suryo and Desmon Sianioar.

“So there are some comparisons, there are three comparisons, three comparisons, but actually there are many but three taken because the rules are like that,” he said.

“One of the most important is the character of paper, character and stamp and so on, because it is indeed a physical object. So that in such a context, as a method of methodology, as a process of law enforcement, we get a credible picture,” explained Anam.

In addition, Anam said that UGM confirmed the Jokowi testing sheet that was not in his thesis. Regarding this thing that was also highlighted by TPUA.
“Why is the thesis that has no signature, it is explained. And that happened not only in one or two thesis, but many thesis models like that,” added Anam.

“Why does it happen? There is an explanation that in our opinion is very informative and the accountability is okay, the credibility is okay. Now that was we investigated,” he concluded.
