written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Kollam / Kozhikode ∙ Minister V. Sivankutty said that the controversy surrounding the welcome song at the state school arts festival would be investigated and action taken. The minister ordered the director of education to conduct an inquiry and submit a report within a week. The minister said it was decided that the group that made the visual demonstration would no longer participate in the art fair. A teachers’ association was responsible for the welcoming committee. They had seen the welcome song in rehearsal but didn’t recognize it because it wasn’t a dress rehearsal. The minister said it was not the leftist government’s position that was presented on stage.

Meanwhile, a complaint was filed with the Kozhikode police against the school’s art festival welcome song. High Court lawyer and Rajiv Gandhi Study Circle state secretary VR Anup filed the complaint. The complaint also underscored Minister Muhammad Riaz’s remark that a religious group was portrayed as a terrorist in the welcome song and that the conspiracy should be investigated.

There is no old place to prepare Kalotsava Ootupura – Pazhayidom

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com January 8, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Kozhikode / Kottayam ∙ In the wake of the controversy, Mohanan Namboothiri said that there will be no more Ootupura for art festivals. He also informed that this year’s South Indian School Science Fair will not include cooking.

He was food manager for South Indian Science Fair held in Thrissur from 26th to 31st. But due to this controversy, he was dismissed. He now he stays away from contracted programs.’ He said the authorities of the fair held in Thrissur have been notified.

So far two children and a quarter crore have been served food through Kalothsavs. The children come back with full stomachs and minds without complaining. This time the controversy caused great pain. Things have gone so as to create controversy on the basis of caste. It is enough for the government to decide whether to serve non-veg food.

Serving children for 16 years. No major issues have been reported so far. But now, when a group of people are out there targeting one person, anything can happen. If we take the recent food deaths in Kerala, they are all due to non-veg food. A counterattack is also expected in the kitchen.

Previously, Mohanan Nambootiri prepared vegetarian food on a regular basis, but non-vegetarian food was prepared for the state school sports fair.

‘There was a never-before-seen fear in Kalotsava’s kitchen. The atmosphere in Ootupura has changed. I have not yet been able to overcome the fear that entered my mind. I lost my presence of mind in Kalotsava’s kitchen. It is not possible to conduct the Kalotsava kitchen without a situation to recover it. After the controversy, anything could happen. No one is blamed. I only have myself to protect me. Things have changed to kill an individual and society on the basis of caste with a specific purpose. If the complaint was about the food, he would have happily resolved it.’

Thiruvananthapuram ∙ From Shahrukh Khan, Mammootty and Asif Ali to actress Mia Khalifa, member of Muslim League of Kalipankulam district in Nemam constituency. The distribution of league members in Kerala was completed on the 31st. The state leadership had suggested distributing the members from house to house. Those who become members need to upload their name, Aadhaar number, Electoral ID card number and telephone number online. Each department has been assigned a separate password. Only the IT coordinator of Kozhikode can open it and check it later. The leadership was shocked when they checked the list of those who gained membership online.

The distribution of members is carried out by ordinary party members themselves. One section claims that there are people who have set up computer centers in places where there is no manpower. We are investigating if anything like this happened.

After membership distribution, the number of party members in the capital is 59551. The league membership in the state is estimated to be 24.33 lakh. An increase of 2.33 lakh members since 2016. More than half of the members are women.

CP League State Deputy Chairman Bawa Haji is the returning officer of Thiruvananthapuram District. He said the incident had been noted and an investigation had been ordered. One section claims that there was irregularity in the distribution of membership in places like Vattiyoorkao and Palayam in the capital.

Governor – Proof Of Deal With Government: Saji Cherian Joins Kerala Government Trial Of Governor – Allegations Of Deal With Government VD Satheesan | Malayalam News, Kerala News | Manoram online

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com January 5, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Thiruvananthapuram ∙ Opposition leader VDSathisan said that the governor’s action to approve Saji Cherian’s oath of office is the final proof of the governor-government deal, which is being fought over and then unraveling. Satheesan called on the government to prepare to issue a white paper on the government’s financial situation.

Two days ago the opposition said the governor would accept the request to appoint Saji as minister. The top BJP leaders in Kerala act as intermediaries. Reappointing a minister without waiting for the final judgment in the case pending before the Magistrate Court and the High Court is tantamount to violating the Constitution.

The economic situation has plummeted to dangerous levels. Things will be true of the warnings in the white paper released by the UDF in December 2020.

The opposition leader recalled that 20,630 complaints about the buffer zone had been received and only 18 had been investigated up to yesterday. The Prime Minister said he will submit a report to the Supreme Court on 11 January. The area of two and a half lakh hectares includes thousands of buildings, temples, farms and government offices. Ordinary people at the edge of the forest are in a panic. Satheesan said the buffer zone issue had become the biggest sign of government incompetence.

Saji Cherian: Governor’s Decision Today; An explanation can be asked of the Prime Minister, Saji Cheriyan

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com January 2, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Thiruvananthapuram ∙ Governor Arif Muhammad Khan is set to make a decision today on the Prime Minister’s recommendation to reinstate Saji Cherian to cabinet. It is likely that Prime Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be asked for an explanation in this regard. The uncertainty about tomorrow’s oath continues. The Governor’s signal is that he will not give in easily to the Prime Minister’s request.

The Governor pointed out that the case is an insult to the dignity of the Constitution and that is unusual. He had to resign in a situation that not even the Prime Minister could accept. He will check if the situation has changed. It cannot be said that the healing process is natural.

A notice was received from the Prime Minister asking him to re-swear Saji Cherian as minister. Seeking legal advice in this regard is a natural course of action. It will be checked and a decision will be made. The opinion of the legal adviser will be taken into consideration. After returning to Thiruvananthapuram, he said the decision will be made later.

The Governor has a duty to take the Minister’s oath if requested by the Prime Minister. The prime minister has the power to retire the minister even if he has lost favor with the governor. In this scenario, the governor will mainly decide whether Saji Cherian will be acquitted of the court case for making unconstitutional speeches. The Prime Minister did not explain why when he resigned and when he was offered to be minister again.

The Governor may ask why the resigning is sworn in again. The governor will ask why he resigned, why he is being sworn in again, whether the case related to this is pending in court, etc. If the explanation is satisfactory, the oath will be administered. Or the governor can wait for the court’s decision. Raj Bhavan’s assessment is that there are no urgent situations to swear by Saji Cherian. The Prime Minister had recommended to the Governor that the oath be administered tomorrow afternoon.
