Alex warren Powers Through Allergic Reaction, shares Touching Moment with Fan at cincinnati Concert
CINCINNATI, OH – October 15, 2025 – Singer-songwriter Alex Warren delivered a memorable performance at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati Tuesday night, despite battling an allergic reaction during the show.In a moment that highlighted the intimate connection between artists and fans, Warren also signed the ashes of a fan’s deceased father, adding a poignant layer too the evening.
Warren, known for his hit song “Ordinary,” experienced an allergic reaction mid-set, though he continued performing. Between songs,a fan approached the stage with a unique request: to have warren sign a container holding her father’s ashes. Warren obliged, inviting the fan to bring the ashes near the stage and discovering they were contained in a plastic baggie.
“You know what? I’ve signed a lot of ashes now and it’s weird to say that out loud,” Warren remarked to the crowd. “They all look kind of different. Like a little memento, ya know. Um. Where’s the rest of him?”
The fan explained she spreads her father’s ashes during her travels, allowing him to be “everywhere in the world.”
The Cincinnati show wasn’t Warren’s first in the city. He previously performed at Bogart’s on May 18,noting the notable difference in venue size and expressing gratitude for the enthusiastic crowd at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center.
Warren’s 90-minute set featured 15 songs, including popular tracks like “Eternity,” “Bloodline,” and “Burning Down,” culminating in a performance of his chart-topping single, “Ordinary.” Released in February 2025 after being written in December 2024, “Ordinary” has resonated with audiences, capturing themes of growth and marital joy. The song topped Billboard’s “Songs of the Summer” chart for 2025 and became a viral sensation on TikTok.
