JS Link America to Invest $233 Million, Bringing 520+ Jobs to Columbus, Georgia

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp announced Wednesday a significant economic investment in Muscogee County with the arrival of JS Link America, a new rare earth permanent magnet facility. The project is expected to create over 520 new jobs.
According to a statement released by Governor Kemp’s office, JS Link America, a wholly-owned U.S.subsidiary of JS Link, will invest approximately $233 million in the Columbus facility. This investment underscores Georgia’s growing role in critical supply chains.
“JS Link America strengthens Georgia’s role in securing the U.S. supply chain in industries such as aerospace, mobility, adn energy,” stated Governor Brian Kemp.
JS Link, founded in 2000, is a Korean company specializing in research and development, with a focus on biotechnology. The Columbus facility represents a major expansion of their U.S. operations.
Local leaders expressed enthusiasm for the project.columbus Mayor Skip Henderson remarked, “We are excited to welcome JS Link America to Columbus, Georgia.”
Muscogee county Chairman Selvin Hollingsworth added,”This location will have a large impact on our entire regional economy,and we look forward to helping them establish and grow their U.S. presence in Columbus.”
