PASADENA, CA – “General Hospital” was the night’s biggest victor atโฃ the 50th Daytime Emmy Awards, taking home six trophies including two supporting acting awards.โ The wins underscore the enduring popularity of โthe daytimeโ drama and its continued critical acclaim within the television industry.
The show’s success, โฃannouncedโข friday at the Pasadena civic Auditorium, highlights a โฃperiod of renewed recognition for daytime television, a genre that has adapted to changing viewershipโข habits while maintaining a dedicated audience. Jonathan Jackson won for his portrayal of Lucky Spencer, a role he’s played on and โฃoff since 1993, while Alley Mills was recognized as guest performer forโ her workโ as Heatherโ webber – her second โคwin in the category, following a victory in 2023. “General Hospital” also securedโ wins for its writing and directing teams.
