Serie A Results & Standings: Inter Milan Leads, Juventus Falls – Feb 21-22

Inter Milan extended its lead atop the Serie A table to 10 points with a 2-0 victory over Lecce on Sunday, while Juventus continued to struggle, falling 2-0 to Como 1907 on Saturday. The contrasting results underscore Inter’s dominance this season and Juventus’s increasingly precarious position in the race for Champions League qualification.

Piotr Zielinski’s late winner in a 3-2 victory over Juventus on February 14th had already propelled Inter to an eight-point advantage, a lead they have now expanded. The match, played at San Siro, saw a dramatic finish with Zielinski scoring in the dying seconds after Andrea Cambiaso had scored for both Inter and Juventus, and Francesco Pio Esposito and Manuel Locatelli also found the net. Juventus played a significant portion of the match with 10 men after Pierre Kalulu was sent off.

Sunday’s win against Lecce further solidified Inter’s position, bringing their point total to 64 from 26 matches. The team has demonstrated consistent form throughout the season, and the victory over Lecce represents another step towards securing the Serie A title.

Juventus, meanwhile, faces mounting pressure after their defeat to Como. The loss extends a negative trend for the Turin club, having now lost two consecutive Serie A matches. The result leaves Juventus with 46 points, and Como close behind with 45, intensifying the competition for European spots.

Elsewhere in Serie A on Saturday, Sassuolo secured a convincing 3-0 win against Hellas Verona, providing a boost to their efforts to climb the league table. Cagliari and Lazio played to a 0-0 draw, sharing a point apiece.

The Serie A standings as of February 22, 2026, show Inter firmly in the lead, followed by AC Milan, Napoli, and Roma. Juventus currently occupies the sixth position, with Como closely trailing. Atalanta, Sassuolo, Lazio, Bologna, and Udinese complete the top half of the table. The bottom of the table features Parma, Cagliari, Torino, Cremonese, Genoa, Lecce, Fiorentina, Pisa, and Hellas Verona.

Further Serie A matches are scheduled, with the potential to significantly alter the competitive landscape at both the top and bottom of the league.
