Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba warmly received Modi, highlighting the deep-rooted historical and cultural connections betweenโฃ the two nations.โ He recalled the introduction of Buddhism to Japan in the 6th century โas a โคfoundational element of their enduring relationship. โ”Our relationshipโค dates back toโ the 6th century,when Buddhism was introduced into Japan.
