Prizes up to R2,000 can be claimed at retail stores. Winnings between R10,000 and R49,999 require a visit to an Approved Prize Payment Centre (APPC). Amounts from R49,999 to R249,999 can be claimed via EFT through participating banks (excluding African Bank, which has a limit of R49,999). Jackpots exceeding R250,000 necessitate an in-person claim at an ITHUBA office.

While the odds remain long, the substantial jackpot has drawn increased attention. A separate Lotto draw this weekend offers R54 million, with slightly better odds of 1 in 40,410,235, and an average payout of R5.95 million.
