Piacenza Province Officials express Disappointment over Exclusion from School Gym Inauguration
PIACENZA, ITALY – A dispute over protocol hasโ emerged in Piacenza following the โinauguration of โขthe redeveloped gymnasium at the “Raineri-Marcora” school. Whileโค the Province โof Piacenza oversaw the renovation project-funded by Italy’s PNRRโค recoveryโ plan-officials โwere not invited to the ceremony, prompting a formalโ protest.
The newly โคrenovated gym โขis named in memory of Marina Partiti, โขa beloved teacher who passed away โฃin 2008. theโ Province holds responsibility for the maintenance of all high schools in the Piacenza area and โmanaged the project throughโข the Bodyโค in via Garibaldi,which oversaw the design and construction.
Despite the province’s involvement,โฃ Piacenza Mayor Katiaโ Tarasconi and councilor for Sportโ Mario Dadatiโ were prominently featured at the inauguration,โ both delivering remarks.
