Taher Al-Nono, media advisor to the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, confirmed that the brothers in Egypt are making efforts at the level of mediation or humanitarian assistance, and we thank them for this assistance, pointing out that the Palestinian people are committed to their land and rights and are ready to die on their land, and we support the Egyptian people who reject any displacement.

Taher added during an intervention on the program “In the Evening with Qaswaa” presented by the journalist Qaswaa Al-Khalali on the CBC channel, that the occupation always shows that the problem is Palestinian in order to evade the situation, and it always issues its internal crisis at our expense, and holds us responsible for its disputes and failure, and all the Palestinian factions have the heart of a man. One and our position is the position of the Egyptian state, which rejects any attempts at displacement.

He continued: Barely 5 to 6 trucks enter the northern Gaza Strip, and the humanitarian situation is very difficult. We called on the world to lift this siege and the attempt to starve the Palestinian people, but we tell them our people are steadfast, pointing out that the Arab position is uneven and most of it is below the scale of the tragedy and disaster, and we need faithful implementation. It is accurate to the decisions of the Arab Summit.

He stressed that we need to bring in aid, a ceasefire, and a radical end to the occupation and siege on the Palestinian people. There must be a solution, and it is time for our Arab nation to say a clear word that ending the occupation is the key to stability in the region.

He continued, we want a strict Arab position to stop the aggression and support the efforts undertaken by Egypt and Qatar. The Arab and Islamic nation has the ability to put pressure and stop the occupation, and we are prepared for the worst and all possibilities and to defend the Palestinian people. The occupation has failed and will fail in achieving its goals and will go and drag the tails of disappointment, and we are certain. We will win, God willing.
