Reproductive Health Campaign Reaches Over 4,600โข Women in Ismailia
Ismailia, Egypt – โA two-week reproductive health activation campaign concludedโฃ Septemberโข 18th, 2025, reaching 4,623 women โacross Ismailia Governorate, according toโค Dr. Reem Mustafa,โข Undersecretary of theโฃ Ministry of โคHealth โขin Ismailia. The campaign, titled “The Golden Alpha Journeyโฆ begins wihtโ a step,” offered free reproductive โhealthโ services โthrough a combination โof fixed clinicsโค and mobileโข units.
The initiative,spearheaded by the Ministry of Health and Population,aimed to improve family health and progress throughout theโข region. Duringโฃ theโ first week, services were provided in Ismailia city, Abu Suwair, Al-Qassasin, โand the Great Hill, โbenefiting 2,936 womenโข with family โplanningโ services.โ The second week focused on Fayed, Qantarah โWest, and Qantara East,โ reaching an additional 1,687 beneficiaries.
Beyond providing access toโ family planning methods, the campaignโ included awareness seminarsโ designed to educate the community about maternal and child health, and to โฃdispel misinformation surrounding family โplanning.โค Details on general โขhealth and well-being was โขalso โฃprovided.
Dr.โฃ Iman Al-Hamaki, Director of the Family Planning Department in Ismailia, reported a strong response from women.โฃ Services provided during the campaignโข included family โplanning โmethods for 4,062 women, screenings for 424 women, follow-up care for 25 pregnancies, and 146 ultrasound examinations. A โtotal of โค4,574 individuals received health advice and information throughout โthe two-week period.
