LPGA Volunteerโ with Down Syndrome Inspires Players and Fans Alike
NAPLES,โ Fla. โ- Alison Seber isโค a familiar and beloved faceโ on theโข LPGA Tour, bringingโข a consistent dose of positivity to players and fans. The โ31-year-old volunteer โwas recently spotted on the 18th green atโ the CME Group Tour championship at Tiburon Golf Club, marking her fifthโข LPGA event this season,โ and will return to Naples next month for the Grant Thornton โInvitational.
Seber, who was born with Down syndrome, began volunteering with the LPGA through a โฃconnection fostered by her father, Jim.What started as a shared interest in golf has blossomed intoโ a vibrant community for Alison, offering meaningful social opportunities.โฃ “It’s a โbig socialization thing,”โค Jim explained.
Alison’s enthusiasm isn’t โlimited โคto spectating. She herself is a competitive golfer, having won a โขsilver medalโ for Team โNew โJersey at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Gamesโ in Seattle. She plays with a signature pink golf ball and enjoys all aspects of the game.
