Superstar Ravi Bishnoi had a brilliant performance in the second match of Australia’s tour of India. Bishnoi created waves at the Greenfield Stadium by testing the Aussie batting line-up with his spin prowess.

Bishnoi took three wickets conceding only 32 runs after bowling four overs. Bishnoi returned Matt Short, Josh Inglis and Tim David.

Bishnoi started by dismissing Matt Short for the first wicket on the fifth ball of the third over. Bishnoi dismissed Short with a clean bowl like in Visakhapatnam T20. Short’s score was 19 runs off 10 balls when he got out.

In the next over, Bishnoi dismissed the dangerous Josh Inglis at the hands of Tilak Verma. After Tilak Verma’s brilliant catch, the Aussies fell to two for 39.

Bishnoi’s last wicket was the crucial wicket of Tim David. Bishnoi returned David, who quickly moved the Aussies scoreboard with 37 runs off 22 balls, to Gaikwad’s hands.

We don’t have to be great to beat a team at the World Cup: Pat Cummins

written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

India and Australia are all set to meet in the ICC World Cup final on November 19, 2023. Aussie skipper Pat Cummins is confident of winning the final against India, who have dominated throughout the tournament. He also feels that his team does not need to be the best to beat their opponents.

‘We only had one good game against the Netherlands and the margin of victory was not big in the rest of the games and we will rectify that in the final. But we shouldn’t be too focused on defeating a team because that would mean we are on the run,” the Aussie skipper told the media.

The Aussie skipper had earlier said that the team XI had not even been finalized to compete against India. Cummins said that the eleven will be pitched only after understanding the pitch correctly.

The Aussie skipper is hoping that Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazelwood will get off to a good start against India at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Both of them performed well in the second semi-final against South Africa.

“They performed well against South Africa. Josh and Starc are match winners. Their spells will be crucial for us against India,” he added.

When asked if he sees the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team as good, he hesitates to say that it is a good unit.

It’s a bit difficult to answer. We have played a lot of matches against them and got good results. “We are now up against a very good Indian squad,” he added.

In any case, both of them are very confident in the final mamangam that the world is waiting for. Let’s see who wins.

India started batting towards the target of 200 runs raised by the Aussies and faced a big setback in the beginning. By the time the team score reached just two runs, the top three batsmen had entered the tent. Ishan Kishan (0), Rohit Sharma (0) and Shreyas Iyer (0) are out. Kishan was dismissed by Starc, Rohit, Shreyas and Hazelwood. India was shaken by this. But Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, who united at the crease for the fourth wicket, saved the team from a big collapse. Both of them played every ball with utmost care and the team score crossed 100. Then Kohli and Rahul scored half-centuries. It was the crucial innings of both of them that helped India.

In the 35th over, Rahul and Kohli crossed the team score of 150. Later, both of them built a partnership of 150 runs. But Kohli got out in the 38th over. Labuschagne caught Kohli as he attempted a pull shot off Hazelwood. Kohli returned after scoring 85 runs from 116 balls accompanied by six fours. Hardik Pandya came to the crease instead. YouTuber ‘Jarvo 69’ Pranks: His Wild Stunts on Cricket Grounds for Popularity and Subscriptions

These are pranks done by YouTubers to get more popularity and more subscriptions.

Chennai: Infamous YouTuber ‘Jarvo 69’ ran into the ground during India-Australia’s first ODI World Cup match. He ran into the ground wearing black cooling glasses and an Indian jersey with the name Jarvo 69. Then the ground staff intervened and tried to eject him.

Meanwhile, Indian superstar Virat Kohli also came to cool the scene. The actor left Jarvo with advice. Then the security personnel intervened and kicked him out to the ground. Trespassing on the grounds is a serious security breach. So there will be legal action against Jarvo.

Jarvo aka Daniel Jarvis, a die-hard fan of Team India
Before this, he ran into the ground three or four times during India’s matches. Then the actor was even banned. During the India-England 4th Test match at the Oval, he approached Jonny Bairstow and ran onto the pitch in the form of a bowler.

Before this, in the second cricket test held at Lord’s, Jarvo spread laughter among the crowd. Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj was confused by the presence of Jarvo who hit the ground. The incident also pointed to security issues at the ground.

The third day of the India-England Test match at Headingley saw a slightly different scene. Dressed as a batter, the player entered the ground with bat in hand. He was also wearing a mask so that he could not be identified. The ground staff caught the man after reaching near the pitch. After this incident, Yorkshire Cricket and County Club banned him from entering the ground.

These are pranks done by YouTubers to get more popularity and more subscriptions. There is a severe penalty for such pitch invasions, including in England. The International Cricket Council (ICC) also says that the stage association monitors the movements of such people.

Indore: India win the second match of the ODI series against Australia. India won by 99 runs according to the Luckworth-Lewis rule due to the strength of the batters. With this, India took a 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Australia’s target of 317 runs against India was reduced to 317 runs in 33 overs after a rain interruption. But Australia’s struggle ended with 217 runs in 28.2 overs.

Spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each. Chasing India’s mammoth score of 399, Australia reached 56/2 when rain interrupted. Rain interrupted India’s innings at 79 for the loss of one wicket in the first 9.5 overs.

Although they lost two wickets in the beginning, Warner and Labuschagne brought the Aussies up to 80 runs. But after they separated, they fell into a slump again. Ashwin crushed the Aussies by returning the left-hander Warner and Josh Inglis in one over. Green tried to fight back but was run out and Abbott fought back with a 36-ball 54 to ease the Aussies’ loss. Abbott, who came in at number eight, put on a 77-run partnership for the ninth wicket with Josh Hazlewood, who scored 23 runs.

Earlier, Shubman Gill with his fifth ODI century of the year and Shreyas Iyer with his third century led India to a big score. Iyer scored 105 runs and Gill scored 104 runs. Along with them, KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav scored half-centuries as India posted a record score of 399 for the loss of five wickets.

Although Ruturaj Gaekwad (8) lost his wicket early on, Gill (104 off 97 balls) and Iyer (105 off 90 balls) put on a 164-ball 200-run partnership. Suryakumar Yadav (72 not out in 37 balls) and captain KL Rahul (52 in 38 balls) who attacked in the last overs butchered the Aussie bowlers.
