The head of the Arab Unification Party, Wiam Wahhab, wrote on his Twitter account:
“Zabarah, Zabarah, the issue of Riad Salameh, and remember me. An end must be put to the French judiciary, otherwise they will hear from me. The intervention will extend to other places and other files. Riad Salameh does not step down, but confronts and is not afraid and exposes them all.”
Wahhab added, “President Hatem Madi’s words are clear: Lebanon does not hand over its citizens. If someone wants to sell abroad, let him sell alone. Here I warn everyone that if this precedent occurs, it means that Lebanon is lawful. Whoever sells today will turn to him. When Lebanon’s judiciary rules, Riad Salameh, we say Another word.”
