South College Expands to Dallas โขwith Focus on Healthcare Education
Farmers Branch, TX – South College, โคa well-establishedโฃ educational institution with a โคstrong emphasis on healthcare programs, has officially opened its โฃfirst Texas campus at 1505 LBJ Fwy. in farmers Branch. A ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the launch, with classes beginning in Summer 2024.
The dallasโ campus aims to address the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals in the region, offering programs including Nursing (LPN/ASN), Dental programs, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiography, and Surgical โTechnology, among others. Students will benefit โfrom modernโ classrooms, specialized labs,โข and the flexibility of select online courses. Campus amenities include a walking trail, outdoor courtyard, parking, and an on-site cafe.

The facility boasts a dental โclinic, โa comprehensive assessment lab with exam โrooms, and dedicated labs for variousโค healthcare programs. Students will also have access to a computer lab and a Student Resource Center.

Founded in โKnoxville, Tennessee in 1882, South College now serves over 18,000 students across 10 campuses, online platforms, and competency-based education programs. Programs are offered at the certificate,associate,bachelor’s,master’s,educational specialist,and โขdoctoral levels in โfields including business,education,healthcare,and criminal โคjustice.
Tuition varies by program and campus; an estimated cost for a nursing degree at the Atlanta campus is approximately $23,000 plus $1,400 for books and supplies.
