Entrepreneur and actress Mia Ehrnrooth and her family have put their Espoo home up for sale.
The detached house in Pakankylä has eight rooms. The yard includes, among other things, a sandy beach, a tennis court and a setting for golf putting.
The sale price of the house is 2.9 million euros.
– It’s a little piece of paradise in Espoo, Ehrnrooth commented to Iltalehte.
He says that the spacious house in a quiet location used to be ideal for him and his family.

Ehrnrooth says that they were actively looking for a house four years ago. The house of dreams came along, and now we are not talking about the house for sale.
– We would have liked to buy it. The sellers were moving abroad, but they didn’t leave. That’s why the house was taken off the market. The house stayed in our hearts, Ehrnrooth says.
A new search brought the Pakankylä house in front of the family, which is now for sale.
– We renovated it into our own dream. We have had a big house that has accommodated a lot of friends. It’s so peaceful there in the middle of nature. The northern lights have been viewed from the opening, Ehrnrooth describes.
He says that the best thing about the house has been being close to nature.
– Above all, if today you find a place of peace in your everyday life. That’s why we fell in love with it and had fun there. We still have a second home in Lapland that meets these criteria, he says.

Last Christmas, Ehrnrooth was sitting at dinner when he got a message asking if they would still be interested in buying that house they were missing.
– We made a quick decision that we cannot let the same house go under twice. We bought this then, Ehrnrooth says about the family’s new home.
Ehrnrooth reveals that the new home is also located in the capital region.
– We are now closer to the city. We have so much travel going on right now, so we have a package that works better for that. After all, houses are for living in if there are too many empty days. Houses like people to enjoy themselves there.
Currently, Ehrnrooth is busy with the upcoming event of her company Charlie Goes To, as well as modeling and influencer work.

Mandarin Chord Borg shared an update in the stories section of his Instagram account on Monday, in which he said that he had found a dead baby bird in his home.
– I got up from the couch and saw it behind the couch in the corner. I got a chill, Borg wrote in his update. Instagram stories are viewable for 24 hours after they are published.
– We no longer even leave the windows open when we are away, he wrote in the update.
Borg tells Iltalehte that he was away from his home for several hours on Monday, when the apartment was empty. Borg lives with his spouse Tomi Solonen with in an apartment building in Helsinki.
– I came home already during the day. I saw that we have something that looks like bird poop on the sofa. I looked around to see that there was no bird here, so maybe it was some kind of food, Borg says he thought.
Only in the evening did Borg find the bird. It was lying on the floor behind the couch in the corner near the window.
– Raukkaparka must have been alone in a panic when he couldn’t get out and tried to drag the bucket around.
Borg suspects that the bird got into the apartment when no one was home. By the time Borg found the bird, it was already dead.

Borg says he feels guilty about the fate of the bird. The couple had left the window open when they left their home, and the bird had come in through the small hole.
– It hasn’t even occurred to me that it’s not worth it (to leave the window open). However, we have an old stone house that needs to be ventilated on hot days. At least we learned now.
– I cried at home and Tomi fixed it, it’s terrible, Borg mourns.
Borg says that Solonen buried the bird in the yard.
– I felt so guilty for not going along, says Borg.
Borg says that many of his Instagram followers have come to say that the same thing has happened to them. Now Borg wants to remind people that windows should not be left open if the apartment is left empty, unless nets have been installed.
