Bulgari Unveils “Kaleidos” Exhibition in Tokyo, Showcasing High Jewelry and Artistic Collaboration
TOKYO, JAPAN - Bulgari launched “Bulgari Kaleidos: Colors, Cultures and Crafts” on September 17th at the National Art Center, Tokyo, an exhibition celebrating the vibrant power of color and the artistry behind the Italian luxury brand’s high jewelry creations. The immersive experience blends Bulgari’s iconic designs with contemporary art,offering a unique exploration of cultural influences and masterful craftsmanship.
The exhibition arrives as Bulgari continues to expand it’s presence in japan, a key market for the brand, and underscores a growing trend of luxury houses integrating art and culture into their brand narratives. “Bulgari Kaleidos” aims to captivate both jewelry connoisseurs and art enthusiasts, highlighting the shared dedication to innovation and beauty found in both disciplines. The exhibition is on view through December 15th, offering a limited window to experience this intersection of luxury and art.
A glittering preview night drew a distinguished crowd including Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado, Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo, Italian Ambassador to Japan Gianluigi Benedetti, and Bulgari brand ambassadors Kim Ji Won, Jang Wonyong, Hikari Mori, and Tomohisa Yamashita. Celebrated talents Kento Nakajima, Exile akira, Non, Haruka Igawa, Miyavi, Mirei kiritani, Aya Omasa, Koyuki, and Ren Meguro also attended.
The event culminated in a gala dinner held in the National Art Center’s grand atrium, curated by Il Ristorante Niko romito of The Bulgari Hotel Tokyo. Guests enjoyed a refined dining experience accompanied by music from composer and pianist Roberto Cacciapaglia and a performance by vocalist Kanna Ogawa.
Featured within the exhibition is a work by artist mariko Mori, complementing bulgari’s dazzling displays of high jewelry.
