Hanoi, Vietnam – The Vietnamโข Ministry of Health hasโ directed the โho Chi Minh City Department of Healthโ to investigateโ allegations of โassaultโ againstโ a โpatient at the Tuyet Chinh dental clinicโข on Tranโ Thi Nghiโ street, Hanhโ thong neighborhood.The directive, issued by the Department of โขExam Management and Medical Treatments,โข demands a full report by September 15th.
The inquiry stemsโฃ from widelyโ circulated video footage appearing onlineโ on the night of September 7th,depicting a woman,believed to be a dentist and owner of theโฃ clinic,physically attacking a โmale patient.The โvideosโฃ allegedly showโ the woman striking the man,threatening him with what appearsโ to be a firearm,and damaging his phone. A second individual attempting to intervene was also reportedly assaulted. โ
The Ministry of Health is requesting theโ Ho Chi Minh City โฃDepartment of Health to verify the incident’s detailsโ and conduct urgent inspections of examination and treatment practices at theโ clinic.Specifically, โคthe directive calls for a โฃprofessional and ethical evaluation of all staff doctors at the โฃfacility. Any violations โขof professional standards will be subject to strict management,with โaโ writtenโค report detailing findings to be submitted to the Ministry of health.
