Seven Arrested in Hartford Human โขTrafficking Examination; Three juveniles Recovered

HARTFORD, CT – โฃA collaborative investigation by the Hartford Police Department โand the Regionalized Human Trafficking Recovery Task Force has โฃresulted in the arrest of sevenโฃ individuals on charges related to human trafficking. Theโ declaration was made by police officials on Wednesday,โ October โฃ22, 2025.
Those arrested include Ahmad Compton, James Williams, Bernard Mickens, Raheem Jones, Donovan Dun, Tyrod jackson, and Tahjay Wilson. Authorities have indicated โฃthat the suspectsโข face a range of charges, โincluding โขtrafficking persons and โsexual assault.
Crucially, the investigation led to the safe recovery of three โฃjuvenile female victims who have as been reunited with their families.The operation marks a significantโ stepโฃ in combating human trafficking within theโฃ Hartford area.
Theโ investigation commenced in Mayโ 2025 following reports received by the Hartford Police โDepartment’sโ Special Investigationsโ Division concerningโ potential human trafficking activity. Following a thorough investigation,โ probable cause was established,โ and arrest affidavits were approved by the superior court.
As of Tuesday, October 21, 2025, โall seven โsuspects were in policeโฃ custody. Law enforcement officials confirmed that the investigation remains โฃongoing, and further arrests are anticipated as the inquiry progresses.
