kyunghee and Hanyang Universities Launchโ ‘Theโ Lion โฃMatch’โ Sports Exchange
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA โค- Kyunghee University and Hanyang โคUniversity willโ inaugurate a new era of intercollegiate sportsmanship with “Theโข lion โคMatch,” a first-time โsports exchange event, set to take place on November 19th at โขSeonseung Hall andโฃ the field hockey court at Kyunghee University’s International Campus.
approximately 600 athletes, โstudents, and โfaculty from both universities – including Hanyang University’s โคERICAโค campus -โข are expected to participate in the event, hosted by Kyungheeโ Universityโฃ Internationalโ Campusโค and organized by theโฃ student โcouncils of Kyunghee โUniversity’s college ofโข Physical educationโ and Hanyangโฃ University’s Colleges of Arts and Physical education (Seoul and ERICA campuses).
The coreโ of “The Lion Match” will feature competitive games between the basketball and soccer teams. The โคevent will also include halftime entertainment such โคas basketball relay shots and soccer relays, alongside an ESG campaign โpromoting eco-friendly practices through the distributionโฃ of reusable โcheering towels. Promotional booths, giveaways, food trucks, and photo opportunities will further enhance the โฃexperience.
Student leaders spearheaded the association of the exchange, including Park Seong-min andโ Hanna โคLee,โฃ presidents and vice presidentโฃ respectively of Kyunghee University’s College of Physical Education Student Council, and Dohyung Kim and โฃGeonhyeong Go, โpresidents of Hanyang University’s College of Arts and Physical Education Student Councils โ(Seoul and ERICA).
