Shin Tae-yong Relieved โof Duties as โขUlsan HD Coach
Ulsan HD has parted ways with headโฃ coach Shin Tae-yong following a disappointing run of results, the clubโฃ announced Thursday afternoon (Octoberโ 9, โฃ2025 WIB). the decision was accompanied by โคthe resignation of Club Director Kim Gwang-kook, both taking responsibility for the team’s underperformance.
The move comes as a notable blow โคfor the defending K League champions, who currently sitโ 10th in the โฃstandings with โ37 points โฃfrom 32 matches-nearly 30 points behindโ league leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai.โข Shinโ Tae-yong, who took the helm in August after a stint with the โฃIndonesian national team, managed only two wins in 10 matches,โข alongside four draws and โfour defeats, including a heavy 0-4 loss to โGimcheon Sangmu last weekend. This coaching change underscores โthe high โคexpectations placed on Ulsan HD and the pressure to regain championship form.
Ulsan has appointed Ulsan Youthโ Team Director โฃNoh sang-rae as โinterim coach while โsearching for a permanent replacement. “Under the guidance โof interim manager Noh Sang-rae,โข an experienced coach in the Kโ League, we will communicate and โฃcollaborateโค to escape the relegation zone.In addition, we will also look โฃfor a replacement,” a club statement โread.
Ulsan’sโ next โขmatch isโข scheduled for October 18 against โคGwangju.
