Chang’s leadership will be instrumental in drivingโ ITRI’s Strategy and Technological Roadmap 2035, focusing on advancementsโฃ in Smart Housing,โค Quality Health, Enduring Surroundings, and Resilient โSociety. Hisโ experience in technology policy and R&D management positions him to accelerate ITRI’s impact on bothโข high-tech and traditional โฃindustries.
Dr.โ Chang brings aโค distinguished academic and professional background to โthe role. Heโค holds a PhD inโข Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Cornellโข University and a BSโ in Civil Engineering from โNational Taiwan universityโข (NTU). Priorโ toโข becoming President, he served โคas executive vice president of ITRI, โคdean of the NTU School of โขDesign, secretary-generalโ of NTU,โข president of the Nanotechnology and Microsystems Association, and deputy executive secretary โคof the Science โand Technology Group of the โขExecutive Yuan. His research expertise โencompasses mechatronic systems, industrial sensing, โคand digital technologies.
