Donald Trump revealed in an interview Saturday that he won’t be attending the Super Bowl, and criticized a pair of musical acts set to perform on February 8 in Santa Clara, California.
Speaking to the New York Post,Trump saeid the distance was the primary reason for his absence. “It’s just too far away,” he stated.
he also took aim at the Super Bowl halftime performers, Bad Bunny and Green Day. Trump reportedly said, “I don’t know those people.” He added, “They’re not very good. I’m not a fan.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has publicly dismissed musical artists. he previously criticized artists like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.
The Super Bowl LVIII halftime show will feature Bad Bunny, Usher, and Green Day. The Kansas City chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in the championship game.
