Grab Indonesia awarded scholarships to 2,316 students from partner families across Indonesia on Thursday, February 12, 2026, according to a company statement. The scholarships, provided in partnership with BenihBaik.com, cover educational expenses for students ranging from elementary school through university.

The program, known as GrabScholar, selected recipients from a pool of over 56,000 applicants nationwide. Of the 2,316 students chosen, 2,286 are enrolled in elementary, middle, and high schools, while 30 are university students, Grab Indonesia CEO Neneng Goenadi stated.

“For us, education is the best investment for the future, and as part of Grab’s commitment to Indonesia, I hope One can continue to collaborate across sectors to open as many opportunities as possible to access education, especially for the Grab family,” Goenadi said during the awarding ceremony.

This year’s GrabScholar program builds on previous initiatives, bringing the total number of scholarship recipients since the program’s launch in 2022 to 5,700. Thirty-eight of these recipients are students with disabilities. In addition to financial assistance, Grab is providing laptops to scholarship recipients to support digital learning, Goenadi added.

BenihBaik.com founder Andy F. Noya emphasized the program’s potential to transform futures. “This program is not just financial assistance, but also a great opportunity for families to change the future through education,” he said.

The GrabScholar program is part of Grab Indonesia’s broader “Program Apresiasi Dana Abadi Grab,” which aims to recognize and support individuals in key sectors, including transportation and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The program began accepting applications on June 10, 2024, and closed on June 30, 2024, extending eligibility to Grab partners, their families, and the general public.

Neneng Goenadi, Grab Indonesia Country Managing Director, previously stated, “We believe that education is the best investment for the future. This is what underlies our consistent implementation of the GrabScholar Scholarship Program which has been running for 3 years in a row.” Since its inception, the program has received over 35,000 applications from students across Indonesia.
