Google Launches Free AI Training Programs for latin American Students and Professionals
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – November 29, 2023 – Google Cloud is expanding access to artificial intelligence education in Latin America with two new, free programs launching this December. “Capacita+ learns AI with Google Cloud” and “Gemini for Students” aim to equip a new generation of professionals with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly AI-driven world.
“Capacita+ learns AI with Google Cloud” is a comprehensive, online training program available to anyone with a Gmail account. Registration is now open at cloudonair.withgoogle.com/events/capacita and the program offers a hybrid format,allowing participation from any country in Latin America,with in-person sessions held at partner universities. Participants who complete the program’s activities will receive digital certificates.
Alongside “Capacita+,” Google is also introducing “Gemini for Students,” providing university students with one year of free access to the Google AI Pro plan. These initiatives are part of Google Cloud’s broader strategy to promote technological inclusion in the region, recognizing the importance of digital skills for job opportunities and economic growth.
