Gold prices in Egypt Fall โforโ Secondโฃ Time Today
Cairo, Egypt โข- October 10, 2025 – โขThe price of gold in Egyptโ experienced a second โขdecline today, falling approximately 15 egyptian pounds during evening trading โฃon Thursday,โ according to naguibโ Club, former Secretary โฃGeneral of the gold Division. This follows an earlier dip during midday โtrading, signaling continued downward pressure on gold values within the country.
The fluctuations impact both investors and consumers, โparticularly those considering purchases for โpersonal use or as a store of โขvalue. Egypt’sโ gold market is โขsensitive toโ global price movements,as well as local economic conditions โฃand currency exchange rates.Further declines could make gold more accessible to buyers, while sustained drops โmay affect the profitability of gold merchants.โค
As of โคthisโ evening, prices per gram are as follows:โค 14 karat goldโฃ is at 3616 pounds, 18 โขkarat โฃgold is โค4,650 pounds, 21 karat โgold is 5425 pounds, and 24 karat gold is 6,200 pounds. The โขgold pound, equivalent to the value of gold within the pound, is currently trading at 43,400 pounds, though prices mayโ vary slightly between vendors.
Goldโ bullion pricesโ also reflect the downward trend: a 10-gram bar is approximately 62,000 pounds, a โฃ50-gram barโข is 310,000โฃ pounds, and an ounceโฃ (31.1 grams) is valued at 192,820โข pounds.โค Bullion pricing is persistent based on the 24-karat โgoldโฃ per gram rate and can โalso differ between merchants.
Globally, gold prices decreased โbyโ 0.53% to around $4,022 per ounce,โค according to the latest Bloomberg data. This global trendโ appears toโ be โcontributing to the price adjustmentsโ observed in โthe Egyptian market.
