NEW ALBANY, Ind. — Girl Fight Wrestling (GFW) returned to Kentuckiana this weekend with its “Your Lost Valentine” show, marking the organization’s first event in the region since 2021. The event, held Sunday in New Albany, featured a roster of 16 female wrestlers.
A significant development at the event was the debut of Billie Starkz as both booker and promoter for GFW. Starkz, who currently wrestles with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH), is transitioning into a management role within the organization. According to Starkz, the opportunity allows her to support emerging talent in her home area.
“We truly do have all levels and all different shapes and sizes here,” Starkz said. “And it’s fun for me, finally getting to take a step back from ROH and AEW and coming back to somewhere I was from, and then helping a bunch of the girls in my area who are now, like, in a place that I was five, seven years ago now.”
The “Your Lost Valentine” show featured a diverse range of wrestling styles, including high-flying acrobatics and technical wrestling. Jamie Hayter and Vert Vixen were featured competitors on the card.
