Former Child star furkan Kızılay Reveals Second Act as Voiceover Artist
ISTANBUL,Turkey – Furkan Kızılay,best known for his role as “Carrot Emre” in teh popular Turkish television series Çocuklar Duymasin (Don’t Let the Children Hear),has surprised fans by revealing a long-held second career as a voiceover artist. The 34-year-old actor, who stepped away from acting some time ago, recently shared a video on social media detailing his work in the industry.
Kızılay gained widespread recognition in the early 2000s for his portrayal of the mischievous character. While largely out of the public eye in recent years - recently appearing at a wedding with his partner, Tutku Yılmaz on June 1st – he has quietly built a 17-year career providing voiceovers for numerous advertisements and other projects.
“I have been doing voiceovers for 17 years. Maybe you have heard my voice in many advertisements… But you didn’t realize who I am,” Kızılay stated in his social media post, adding that his studio is located three levels underground with a dedicated recording room. The revelation highlights a successful parallel career path for the former child star, demonstrating a continued presence in the entertainment industry albeit behind the microphone.
