Landover, MD – Fans heading to FedExField for Monday Night Football between the Washington commanders and the Chicago Bears should anticipate notable traffic and plan to arrive earlier than usual. A revised timeline for lot openings has been implemented to manage congestion.
Tickets and parking for the game are sold out. Fans are strongly encouraged to carpool, utilize rideshare services, or take public transportation to minimize delays. WMATA will provide frequent Metro service to and from the game, with extended hours if the game extends beyond the regular schedule. Following the game, fans should proceed directly to the Metro station to ensure timely travel. Morgan Boulevard and Downtown Largo stations will be open for entry, while all other stations will be exit-only.
Here’s the adjusted schedule for lot access:
* 2 PM: RedZone/rideshare Lot opens
* 3 PM: All general parking lots open
* 4 PM: Touchdown Club and Legends Plaza open
* 5 PM: All stadium gates open
To ensure equitable access, fans are asked to consolidate tailgating activities.
In keeping with the game’s “Conquer the Night” theme, Commanders fans are encouraged to wear black or dark-colored attire. A special pre-game light show is planned, and wristbands for participation will be distributed to early arrivals.
The Washington Commanders organization appreciates the cooperation and support of all fans attending the game.
