Leevon PPK Football Club Raises โฃFunds forโ Children’s Hospital
The Leevon PPK โขfootball club recently completed a accomplished charity campaign, donating more than โฌ7,000 to โขthe children’s Hospital Foundation. The initiative, a long-held ambition stemming back to the club’s roots as “Leevon Saldus” and later considered by FK PPK, aimed to support the health and development โof children.
Driven by the club’s motto,”Inspire to improve,” the campaign initiallyโข set a goal of raising โฌ50 for each player. Whileโฃ the team reached 49 individual goals,โ overwhelming support from the local communityโ and โfans pushed the total donation significantly higher.
“Sport is more than just a game; it can โteach a lot,” said Maris Landmanis, co-founder and head coach of Leevon and the driving force behind the campaign. “We believe โฃin playing for somethingโ biggerโค – inspiring our future by supporting children’s health. we hope to continue this type of initiative in future seasons.”
Edgar Anderson added his gratitude, thanking the staff of the Children’s Hospital and theโ Children’s Hospitalโฃ Foundation for their collaboration and support in making the campaignโข possible.
