Chris Martin, 47, the lead singer of the favorite band Coldplay, is engaged to ooze sex Fifty Shades -film series lead actress Dakota Johnson.

In 2022, Johnson told Vanity Fair in an interview that the film was originally supposed to be completely different. According to Johnson, filming was hampered by author EL James, whose novel the films are based on.

– He (EL James) was in control a lot. Every day and all the time, he insisted that certain things be done a certain way, Johnson said.

The actor described the making of the film as absurd.

– If I had known then what it would be like, I don’t think I would have done it. I would have thought this was psychotic. But I don’t regret it, Johnson said.

The film series includes a total of three films: Fifty Shades of Grey (2015), Fifty Shades of Darker (2017) and Fifty Shades of Freed (2018).

“Would you like to see your child having sex?”

In 2015, Johnson walked to the Oscars with his mother, Melanie Griffith. According to the Mirror magazine, on the red carpet of the gala, they got into a very awkward situation when the interviewer asked if Johnson’s mother had seen her daughter’s performance oozing sex Fifty Shades of Grey in the movie.

– He is a great actor. I don’t need to see to know how good he is at it, Griffith replied.

The two were also asked at the same gala if the mother finds it embarrassing that her daughter acts in the movie’s sex scenes.

– It’s a movie, he knows it, Johnson says on behalf of his mother.

Griffith has spoken on the same topic a second time. In the same year, he told People magazine on the eve of the Grammy Awards that watching the film would be really uncomfortable for him and Johnson.

– He would feel uncomfortable if I watched it and I would also feel uncomfortable if I watched it.

– Would you like to see your child having sex? I wouldn’t be able to watch even the hobby of ordinary sex, let alone the more violent sex seen in the movie. I really couldn’t do it, Johnson’s mother reveals to the magazine.

Open sexual education of mother and daughter

Although Johnson’s mother cannot watch her child’s sex scenes, she has given Johnson an open sexual education. In March of this year, Johnson told Bustle that he was very happy with his open upbringing.

– I am lucky that I grew up with a mother who is very open about matters related to sexuality. Although sometimes even too open, Johnson told the magazine.

– My mother said this: “Anything or anyone you are interested in, and when you want to have sex, tell me. I’m giving you birth control pills,” Johnson continued.

Johnson says that he found it easy to find his own sexuality, because he had such an open resistance to sexuality.

Johnson and Coldplay frontman Martin have been together since 2017. They got engaged a year ago, but the couple, who strictly adhere to their privacy, have not told the exact date of the engagement.

Martin has two children, Apple’s20, and Moses18, from his previous marriage to actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
