Cairo, egypt – President โคof Ain shams University, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, met with โthe โGerman Ambassador too Egypt to discussโค expanding collaboration between Egyptian and German universities. โThe meeting underscored the โstrong, long-standing relationship between โthe two nationsโค and explored opportunities for joint educational and research initiatives, as well as increased scientific and cultural exchange.
Prof. Zain El-Abedeen affirmed Ain Shams University’s commitment โtoโ supportingโฃ internationalโ higher education,leveraging its “solid cultural heritage and distinguished human โresources.” He highlighted the university’s โposition as a leading academic institution in the region.
The German ambassador lauded the “exceptional strategic partnership”โค between Egypt and Germany, noting its ancient depth across political, economic, cultural, scientific, and educational sectors. He โขspecifically commendedโฃ ain Shams University’s โฃ”prestigious status and international reputation,” expressing Germany’s desireโ to broaden cooperation to facilitate the transfer of academic and scientific expertise and strengthen dialog between the two countries.
Discussions also acknowledged the growing importance of German language studies โin Egypt, withโค state โฃsupport integrating the language into both schoolโค and university curricula.
Furthering โthe exchange, the Germanโค Ambassador delivered a lecture at Ain Shams University’s Faculty of Al-Alsun, addressing Egyptian-Germanโฃ relations in scientific cooperation and university education for faculty, teaching assistants, and students.
