Our Red Bulls have escaped the Austrian cold to travel to the Marbella sun. We left Taxham at 08:00 in the morning with the journey taking us from there to Munich and then to Malaga before going to the team hotel where our boys checked in shortly after 17:00.
To help them shake off their travel weariness there was a short training session held in the evening with a few laps and rondos at the Marbella Football Center, our home for the next nine days.
It is the first time I have come to Marbella. There are incredible facilities here. The pitch is amazing – it could be a golf course. There is a good atmosphere in general, and everything is set up for the days of training ahead in which we are going to work very intensively on our principles.
