Frankfurt/Main – โ Dominik Kohr of FSV Mainz 05โ has โฃbeen suspended โคfor three games andโฃ fined โฌ15,000 by theโฃ German Football โassociation (DFB) โfollowing aโ red card received during a 1-1 drawโฃ against TSG Hoffenheim. the decision was announcedโ by the โขDFB.
Kohr’s dismissal marked theโข ninth sending-off of his Bundesliga career, surpassingโค theโข previous โrecord of eight held jointlyโข by โJens โNowotny and Luiz Gustavo. The foul occurred in the โfinal phase of the โคmatch against โHoffenheim, targeting Max โMoerstedt,โค and prompted a review by referee Sascha Stegemann.
TSG Hoffenheim coach Christian Ilzer reported that moerstedt sustainedโ only a โคbruise from the challenge, stating โฃhe hadn’t witnessed such a forceful foul in someโ time.
