Production Underway
The production of the SD-05 flying car has already commenced in Iwata, Shizuoka Prefecture. Sky Works Inc., a subsidiary of SkyDrive, is utilizing **Suzuki Groupโs** facilities for manufacturing. The first rivet installation ceremony on March 6, 2025, marked a significant milestone, with **SkyDrive CEO Tomohiro Fukuzawa** and **President Toshihiro Suzuki** in attendance.
Public Debut and Initial Orders
The SkyDrive SD-05 made its first public flight on April 9, 2025, at the Media Day event for the Osaka 2025 Expo, capturing global attention. Furthermore, Jetsetgo, a major private jet operator in India, has placed an initial order of 50 flying cars to enhance future operations.
The SkyDrive SD-05 is expected to be utilized at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
