Trump Demands Prosecution of Harris,Beyoncรฉ,Oprah, and Sharpton Over Alleged Campaign Payments
Washington D.C. – Former President Donald Trump has called for the prosecution of Vice President Kamala Harris, alongside entertainment titans Beyoncรฉ,Oprah Winfrey, and civil rights leader Al Sharpton, alleging illegal payments were made too secure endorsements during the 2024 election cycle.
Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Saturday, asserting that Harris’s campaign funneled millions of dollars to the stars for appearances, which he claims constituted illegal payments for endorsements. “YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO,” Trump declared, warning that such practices would lead to widespread chaos if adopted by politicians.
The former president cited specific figures, stating that Beyoncรฉ’s production company, Parkwood Entertainment, received $11 million, while Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions was paid $3 million for “expenses.” Additionally, Trump claimed that Sharpton’s National Action Network received $600,000. Trump characterized these payments as “ridiculous fees” that were “incorrectly stated in the books and records.”
These accusations echo previous claims made by Trump in December, where he alleged that Democratic campaigns had paid ” $11,000,000, $2,000,000, and $500,000 to get the ENDORSEMENT of Beyoncรฉ, oprah, and Reverend al.” at that time, he criticized Beyoncรฉ for not performing, described Oprah’s payment as “expenses,” and labeled Sharpton a “third rate Con Man.”
During the 2024 election, Harris’s campaign faced scrutiny for payments made to Beyoncรฉ’s production company, reportedly exceeding $165,000 for a houston rally. Winfrey’s involvement in a live stream event she helped organize also saw her production company receive $1 million. Harris’s campaign also reportedly allocated $500,000 to Sharpton’s National Action Network. All three public figures have a history of supporting Democratic candidates.
The Harris campaign has previously addressed inquiries regarding payments to Beyoncรฉ’s production company, denying that any funds were exchanged for endorsements. beyoncรฉ’s mother, Tina Knowles, has also publicly refuted reports suggesting her daughter received up to $11 million for speaking at a harris rally. Winfrey herself has stated she “was not paid a dime” for her participation, with the campaign covering production fees.
Trump’s latest remarks come as he is undertaking a four-day visit to the United Kingdom. It remains unclear where Trump obtained the specific financial figures cited in his recent social media posts. “They should all be prosecuted! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump concluded.
