Roseman University Opens โฃNewโ Integrative โฃOral Health Clinic in Henderson
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) – Rosemanโค university of Health Sciences โhas launched the Thorne Clinic for Integrative Oral Health and Primary Care at its Henderson campus, marking a significant expansion of its dental education and patient care capabilities.
The 12,000-square-foot clinic, located at 4 sunset Way, Building A, โboastsโค 35 dental chairs and is strategically positioned next to Roseman’s existing dental and orthodontic clinics, bringing the university’s โขtotal chair count to 62. This expansion isโ projected to accommodateโฃ up to โ50,000 patient โvisits annually.
Funded entirely by PDS โHealth, the clinic embodies โa commitment to integrated healthcare. PDS Health Founder and โCEO Stephen E.โข thorne IV emphasized the importance of this approach, stating, “roseman University is creating a space where students experience โhow oral health and medicine work together inโ clinical care.Learning โคin an integrated setting prepares them to think differently, work more collaboratively, and deliver better outcomes for the patients they will serve.”
Dr. Frank Licari, deanโฃ of Roseman University College of Dental Medicine, echoed โthis sentiment, highlighting the clinic’s role in increasing accessโฃ to affordable, high-quality dental care and fostering a thoroughโข learning environment. “Today’s dedication โคis a proud moment for Roseman University and for Southern Nevada,” he said.
Beginning in January 2026, dental students from Roseman’sโ South Jordan, Utah campus will relocate to Henderson to gain hands-on experience providing faculty-supervised patient care at the Thorne Clinic.
The clinic will alsoโ integrate Epic, a leading electronic health records system, thanks to the partnership with PDS Health, aiming to improve patient outcomes through a focusโ on oral-systemic healthโ connections. Moreover, aโ grant from Dental Imaging Technologies Corporationโ (DEXIS)โ will equip the clinic with cutting-edge digital imaging โandโฃ diagnostic systems, including AI-enabled technologies. “The students who train at the Thorne Clinic won’tโค just be learning dentistry-they’ll be โmastering the tools and technologies that define the futureโฃ of oral healthcare,” noted Robert Befidi, president of DEXIS.
