WARSAW, POLAND – Passengers traveling on select Intercity (IC) trains โon November 25, โข2025, shouldโ prepare for potential seating adjustments due toโฃ the deployment of replacement wagon sets.PKPโฃ Intercity announced โtoday thatโฃ several trains will operate with different configurations than โฃoriginallyโฃ scheduled, impacting the availability of wheelchair-accessible wagons adn catering services.
The changes stemโฃ from necessary fleet adjustments and may result โขin โขpassengers being allocated seats differing fromโข those indicated on theirโฃ tickets. PKP Intercity advises travelers โto consult data posted onโ carriage doors for accurate seating details. Affectedโ routes and train compositions include: IC No. โฃ23108/9 โ”WAWELSKI DRAGON” (Lublin Gลรณwny – Krakรณw โคGลรณwny) with one 1st class and โthree 2nd classโข wagons; IC โคNo.โฃ 1320/1 “KARลOWICZ” โฃ(Warszawa Wschodnia – Krakรณw Main) with one 1st class andโค five โ2nd classโฃ wagons; IC nr 3122/3โฃ “KINGA” (Krakรณw Gลรณwny – Warszawa Wschodnia) with โฃone 1st class andโข four โ2nd class wagons; IC โnr โ32108/9 “WAWELSKI DRAGON” (Krakรณw Gลรณwny – Lublin Gลรณwny) with one 1st class andโ three 2nd classโ wagons. Notably, none ofโค these trains willโข include a wagon adapted for โwheelchair users.
However, someโ services will offer accessibility. IC nr 26102/3 “ลEMPICKA” (Lublin Gลรณwny – Wrocลaw Gลรณwny) and IC nr 62102/3 “ลEMPICKA” (Wrocลaw Gลรณwny – Lublin Gลรณwny) both include a wagon adapted to transport disabled people โฃin wheelchairs,โข alongside one โ1stโ class, โขone 1st/2nd โขclass, and five 2nd class wagons. IC nr 1508/9 “BRDA” (warszawa Wschodnia -โข Bydgoszcz Gลรณwna) also features aโค wheelchair-accessible wagon within its configuration of two 1st class โขand six โข2nd class wagons.
