Credor Unveils Exquisite Goldfeather Enamel Dials, Exclusive to Japan
Credor, Seiko’s luxury watch brand, has announced two new limited-edition Goldfeather models – the GBBY969 and GBBY971 – distinguished by meticulously crafted cloisonné enamel dials. The timepieces represent a pinnacle of Japanese artistry, blending traditional techniques with high-end watchmaking.
These exclusive releases cater to discerning collectors and enthusiasts seeking exceptional craftsmanship. Priced at JPY 4,950,000 (approximately EUR 26,000 excluding taxes), the Goldfeather models are currently only available in Japan, presenting a unique chance - or challenge - for international buyers. The launch underscores credor’s commitment to preserving and innovating within the haute horlogerie space, potentially signaling a need for broader global distribution to meet anticipated demand.
each watch features a platinum case housing the ultra-thin calibre 6890, a hand-wound movement just 1.98mm thick, offering a 37-hour power reserve. The dials, available in dark purple (GBBY971) or a nuanced shade referred to as “Hatoba” (GBBY969), showcase a delicate gradient effect achieved through the enamel work, allowing light to penetrate and reveal the engraved motifs beneath.
The calibre 6890 boasts 22 jewels and operates at 3Hz. A see-through caseback displays the movement’s elegantly finished bridges, featuring large stripes, chamfered edges, and blued screws. The watches are completed with crocodile straps and 950 platinum pin buckles.
The Credor Goldfeather Tomekon GBBY969 and Hatoba GBBY971 will be available starting October 10, 2025, exclusively in Japan. Further details can be found at www.credor.com.
