Family Mourns Loss of Ozzy Osbourne After heart Attack
LOS ANGELES, CA – January 5, 2024 - rock icon Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 75 following a heart attack, his family announced today. The Black Sabbath frontman had publicly battled Parkinson’s disease since 2019, and a death certificate revealed underlying cardiovascular disease contributed to his passing.
Osbourne’s death marks the end of an era for heavy metal and leaves a void in the music world. He is survived by his wife, sharon, and children Aimee, Jack, and Kelly.The family has requested privacy during this difficult time. His influence on generations of musicians and fans remains immeasurable, and his legacy as the “Prince of Darkness” will endure.
The musician’s passing follows a long period of health challenges. Along with Parkinson’s, Osbourne underwent surgery in 2017 for a staph infection and experienced a fall in 2019 that required extensive rehabilitation.
