Joko Agus Setyono Officially sworn in as Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta. PKS advised Joko to maintain neutrality when carrying out his duties.
“What must be avoided is neutrality or being too heavy on (one group),” said PKS Fraction Secretary of the DKI Jakarta DPRD M Taufik Zoelkifli to journalists, Thursday (16/2/2023).
Taufik explained that what is meant by maintaining neutrality is not in favor of a certain faction in Indonesia DPRD DKI Jakarta. In principle, a regional secretary for DKI must accommodate all requests from the council, regardless of political parties or certain groups.
“This DPRD is a collection of factions, so it’s only proportional to accommodate the wishes of the DPRD. Indeed, the council is a political institution, so don’t take sides with certain groups or classes,” he explained.
The member of Commission B also asked Joko to maintain good communication with the members of the council. Bearing in mind, Joko also automatically serves as Head of the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD).
“Hopefully we can continue what was good from the past. Then yes, things that are not good can be improved,” he said.
“Hopefully he can learn quickly because the most important thing for a regional secretary, what else in DKI Jakarta, is communication with the DPRD, especially the issue of the development budget,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the PKS faction of DKI Jakarta DPRD Ahmad Yani hopes that Joko’s figure can help Acting Governor (Acting) DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono in his work. Especially in overcoming the problem of flooding, traffic jams, and stunting.
“Pak Joko, who has been sworn in, hopes we can help Pak PJ the governor,” said Yani.
“The problem of flooding, traffic jams, garbage and stunting,” he continued.

As is well known, designation Joko And so the Secretary of DKI Jakarta is also stated in the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 13/TPA of 2023 and was stipulated by President Jokowi on 13 February 2023.
