‘Alien: Earth‘ Renewedโข For Season 2 as Noah Hawley Extends Deal โwith Disneyโ Entertainment Television
FX’s ‘Alien: Earth’ has been renewed for โa second season, concurrentโข withโค an expanded overallโ deal between creator Noah Hawley and Disney Entertainmentโ Television. โคThe renewal signals confidence in the series, a prequel to Ridley Scott’sโฃ 1979 film Alien, which premiered on FXโ in February 2024.
The series stars Sydney Chandler and features an expansive ensemble cast including Alex Lawther,Timothy Olyphant,Essie Davis,Samuel Blenkin,Babou Ceesay,David โขRysdahl,Adrian Edmondson,Adarsh Gourav,Jonathanโค Ajayi,Erana James,Lily Newmark,Diem Camille and Moe Bar-El.
Hawley will continue to serve as creator and โขexecutive producer. Scott, david W.โ Zucker, Clayton Krueger, โคEmilia โSerrano, Bob โDeLaurentis, Peter Calloway, Monica Macer, john Campisi โฃand Simonโฃ Emanuel โalso serve asโ executiveโ producers.โ Alien: Earth is โขproduced by FX Productions.

Hawley’s relationship with FX began with the 2014 premiere of Fargo, which โคhas as garnered seven Emmy Awards (including Outstanding Miniseries)โ from 70 nominations, three Golden Globe Awards (including Best Miniseries) โfrom 14 nominations, two AFI โคAwards,โ and a Peabody Award. The โseries โmaintains an average โRotten Tomatoes critic scoreโค of 93% and a Metacritic score of 84. Hisโค drama Legion averagedโ a 91% Rotten Tomatoes score over it’s three seasons.
