Bali Hotel Teaches Table Manners to Local Children
ARYADUTA Bali hosts CSR event, emphasizing the story behind shared meals.
As part of its “Story in the Table” themed Sapta Rasa campaign, ARYADUTA Bali hosted a special CSR event on July 2, 2025, providing children from the Pradnyagama Foundation with their first formal dining experience and highlighting the stories that can be told through food.
A Meaningful Experience
Twenty children and teachers from the Pradnyagama Foundation, which supports children with special talents through psychological services, enjoyed a table manners class at the ARYADUTA Bali. The initiative sought to give these children a unique and significant dining opportunity, reinforcing the idea that every meal shared has a valuable narrative.
First Formal Dining for Many
The class introduced the children to a three-course meal. The experience began with dinner rolls and butter, followed by creamy potato and carrot soup with croutons. Chicken tenders, fries, and salad comprised the main course, and a colourful rainbow pudding with vanilla flavour concluded the meal.
Interactive Learning
I Komang Agus Wijaya Kusuma, ARYADUTA Baliโs F&B Outlet Manager, led the class, making the etiquette lesson interactive, fun, educational, and memorable for the children.
According to a recent study, interactive learning experiences significantly improve children’s retention and understanding of new concepts (Frontiers in Psychology, 2022).
Words From Leadership
RM Rendy Prapanca, General Manager of ARYADUTA Bali, welcomed the children and encouraged them to practice good manners always, including at the table. He emphasized:
โRespecting others at the table is as important as enjoying the food.โโRM Rendy Prapanca, General Manager of ARYADUTA Bali
Gladys Monica Solang, Marketing and Communications Manager, added her thoughts, sharing that:
โFood is not only about flavour โ itโs also about the stories we share, the laughter we create, and the moments we remember. Beautiful things happen around the table, and today, weโre writing a new story together.โโGladys Monica Solang, Marketing and Communications Manager

Gratitude Expressed
Ni Made Pradnya Amadeandra Kusuma, M.Psi., Psikolog, and Chairwoman of the Pradnyagama Foundation, voiced her appreciation, noting:
โThis is our first time being invited by a hotel for a table manners experience. The children are thrilled, and we hope this is the first of many impactful collaborations.โโNi Made Pradnya Amadeandra Kusuma, M.Psi., Psikolog, Chairwoman of the Pradnyagama Foundation
