Wilson and Barbara Broccoli have officially confirmed that a new James Bond film is in development with Steven Knight, creator of the acclaimed series “Peaky Blinders,” attached to write the screenplay. The announcement follows months of speculation regarding the future of the iconic 007 franchise after Daniel Craig’s departure following “No Time To Die” (2021).

Wilson and Broccoli, who have overseen the James Bond series since 1995, expressed their enthusiasm in a joint statement: “We are thrilled to announce that Steven Knight is joining us on the next chapter of James Bond.
