Fort Hood Patients Allege Secret Recordings by OB-GYN
KILLEEN,โ Texasโข (KWTX/Gray News) – Several patients have come forward with allegations that an โขOB-GYN atโ Fort Hood’s Darnall Medical Centre secretly โขfilmed them during examinations.โฃ The โwomen, represented โขby โthe Cobos Law Firm, held a news conference to demandโฃ justice and accountability, withโ the firm โplanning to โขfile a civil โlawsuit on thier behalf.
The Cobos Law Firm accuses both the โคdoctor and Fort Hood leadership โฃof allowing โคa years-long pattern โof abuse against โฃfemale patients.They โฃcontend that complaints against theโข physician โคwere repeatedly ignored.
Attorney Andrew Cobos stated the allegations involve the doctor improperly photographing and videotapingโค patients during โprocedures like breast exams and prenatal checkups. โHe alleges the โrecordings were madeโ using the doctor’s cell phone, often under the guise ofโ expecting a phone call, with the โdevice concealed in his breast pocket.
While theโฃ women involvedโ haveโฃ chosen to remain anonymous, several shared their experiences publicly. One โฃpatient from Colorado recounted a situation where sheโ alleges the doctor performed an unauthorized โขsecond vaginal surgery while she was โunder anesthesia,โ then “manipulated” herโค into believing it was acceptable during recovery.
Another woman stated, “He crossed professional and โpersonal boundaries in ways that made me feel deeply โคuncomfortable and unsafe. Heโ then further violated โฃmy trust by lying in hisโฃ clinicalโ report about the things thatโ he said and the way that heโ touched me โฃduring that visit.”
the Cobos Lawโ Firm โฃasserts that multiple complaints had been filed against the โdoctorโข prior to the lawsuit.
KWTX is withholding the doctor’s nameโ asโข he โคhas not been formallyโ charged with a crime at the timeโ of โฃthisโ report.
