NEW YORK – The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders energized a national television audience Monday night, opening The Tonight show Starring โJimmy Fallon following the NFL’s season-opening game โbetween the Detroit Lions โฃand Kansas โฃCity Chiefs. The performance marked a high-profile moment for the iconic squad, whichโฃ recently gainedโฃ increased โขvisibility through the Netflix docuseries โ America’s Sweethearts: โDallas Cowboys โฃCheerleaders.The cheerleaders’ appearance comes after a year of significant change and increased advocacy for the team. The first season of America’s Sweethearts, which premiered on Netflix in โฃ2024, offered a behind-the-scenes look at the demanding world of professional cheerleading, including rigorous tryouts, extensive โฃrehearsals, and the challenges of balancing personal and professional commitments.
Season โ2, which debuted in june,โค highlighted theโข cheerleaders’ triumphant push for improved compensation.
