Last Sunday, the owner of a home in the El Perejil sector of the capital of Colchagua went to the San Fernando PDI to report that he was the victim of injuries and threats by individuals who were caught trying to rob his home.

According to what was stated by the victim, the incident occurred during the early hours of Sunday morning, while he was returning to his property with his brother, when they saw a group of subjects jumping over the fence of their house, whom they scolded, while they gave way. The escape.

Because the affected person had suffered the theft of species last year, he decided to follow the vehicle in which the defendants were leaving, who took refuge in another home in the sector, where they came out with bats and other forceful elements, with which They beat the complainant and his brother, causing bruises and cut wounds to various parts of their body.

After being attacked, those affected moved to a nearby healthcare center, where they were diagnosed with less serious injuries, a fact that they reported to the San Fernando PDI.

After receiving the complaint, the detectives went to the home of the accused, who denied having participated in the events. However, the police found evidence associated with the reported incident, such as the weapons used by the defendants to beat those affected, as well as the hat of one of the victims, elements that had blood stains.

With this evidence, the civil police arrested a 40-year-old woman and three men aged 24, 36 and 55 years old, the last of them with a history of illicit drug trafficking, which was made known to the prosecutor of shift, who instructed that all of the detainees be placed at the disposal of the San Fernando Guarantee Court, for the respective detention control.

The PDI also reported that, during the police procedure, a car was identified that was in the possession of one of the accused, which had a charge for misappropriation, a vehicle that will be delivered to its original owner.
