New Images Offer glimpse Inside Jeffrey โEpstein‘s Private Island
Recently releasedโ photos and videos are providing a rare lookโ inside Jeffrey Epstein’sโค private island, Little St. James, in the US virgin Islands.โค Democraticโ members of the โUS House Oversight Committee made theโค material โpublic on Wednesday, shedding light on the property central to allegations of sex trafficking and abuse.
The collection includes ten โphotographs and four videos documenting the interior of Epstein’s residence. Theโฃ images, reportedly taken in 2020 following Epstein’s death, appear to be documentation gathered by US โขVirgin Islandsโฃ law enforcement. They depict various rooms including bedrooms, a possible office/library space, and a telephone area. Notably,one photograph shows a chalkboardโ bearing the words “fin,” “intellectual,”โ “deception,” and “power.”
Perhaps the most unsettling image reveals โฃa room equippedโ like a dental surgery, complete with โฃa dental chair, equipment, and masks resembling human faces adorning the walls. Reports from The New York โTimes indicate โฃone โขof Epstein’s associates was a dentist who shared office space with one of his shell โคcompanies.
The videos showcase the island’s luxuriousโฃ features, including pristine whiteโ linens, spacious rooms, and a large swimming pool surrounded by palm trees on the 90-acre property.
Epstein owned two islands in the US Virgin Islands, and in 2022, his estate โreached a settlement exceeding $100 million with the US Virgin Islands Attorney General. This settlement followed allegations thatโ “dozens of young โขwomen andโข children were trafficked,โฃ raped,โค sexually assaulted and held โขcaptive” on Little St. James.
While the โฃhouse Oversight Committee released the images, details surrounding their origin and investigative context โremain limited. File names were uninformative, and the committee has not fully explained the timing of the release.Committee members stated the release is partโฃ of a โbroaderโ effort to increase transparency regarding Epstein’s activities and to scrutinize the actionsโ of the Trump administration and the Department of Justice.
Lawmakers have also requested an update from Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding the โJustice Department’s ongoing examination. โคA deadline of โฃDecemberโข 19th has โคbeen set for the release of additional “Epstein files” as mandated by recentlyโ passed legislation. these newly released images are separate from the documents required under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
